VP Leni Robredo denies distributing relief goods with her name on them

The office of Vice President Leni Robredo denied reports that the relief packs the office is distributing comes with the name of the Vice President. The OVP is advising the public to be more vigilant and encouraged everyone to report any disinformation being circulated online.

On Facebook, the OVP posted the following:

“FAKE NEWS ALERT! Mariin po naming pinabubulaanan ang kasinungalingang ipinapakalat sa social media tungkol sa aming ipinamimigay na relief packs.

Wala pong nakalagay na pangalan ni VP Leni o maging ng OVP sa aming relief packs—na ating naipapaabot sa mga nangangailangan dahil na rin sa bukas-palad na pakikiisa ng ating #AngatBuhay partners.

Sa panahong higit na mahalaga ang tama at makabuluhang impormasyon, maging mapagmatyag po sa mga nababasa at nakikita sa social media, at i-report ang mga nagpapakalat ng disinformation.”
