VP Robredo says she doesn’t expect President Duterte to apologize

Vice President Leni Robredo was asked by members of the media if she is expecting an apology from President Rodrigo Duterte after the misinformation that happened that she took a C130 to deliver relief goods to typhoon survivors.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo already apologized to the Vice President for wrongly accusing her of such.

“Honestly, I dont think its forthcoming. Knowing the President. I dont think that he will ever apologize kahit pa false yung premise.” said Robredo.

“Pero yung sa akin kasi I wouldn’t lose sleep over it lalo na kasi parang nangyari ito at a time na dapat nagkakaisa tayo. Nangyari ito at a time na grabe yung krisis na pinagdadaanan ng bansa natin.” added Robredo.

“Para sa akin nakakahiya naman sa tao kung ito yung ang paguusapan natin. So yung sa akin while I have exerted some effort in dispelling the false information that has been going around. Para sa akin I don’t want to lose focus on that work what am doing now.” Robredo said.
