Movie and Television Review and Classification Board Chair Lala Sotto-Antonio remained unfaced despite the clamor for her to resign.
Netizens have been calling for her resignation after the board’s decision to suspend ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime” aired on GTV.
Talent manager Ogie Diaz on his vlog ‘Showbiz Update’ said Lala will not step down.
““According to our source sa MTRCB, hindi magre-resign si Chairwoman Lala Sotto at ginagawa lamang daw ng MTRCB ang kanilang trabaho bilang guardians ng televiewers,” said Ogie.
With regards to case of E.A.T. Wally Bayola who was heard cursing in one of its episode, Ogie said it’s next in line in as far MTRCB is concerned.
“Yung issue ng kay Wally Bayola ay nakapila umano sa isa sa maraming complaints sa adjudication committee. Ito yung pinakakorte ng MTRCB. Kabilang ang iba pang complaints sa ‘E.A.T.’, sa ‘Eat Bulaga’, sa Channel 7 at iba pang violations din daw ng ‘It’s Showtime’,” said Ogie.
