Singer Frankie Pangilinan expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments as she addressed those who are saying that they ‘can’t accept defeat’.
In her Twitter account, Frankie retweeted a post made by Altermidya. The said post is her video interview when she joined a rally at Palacio del Gobernador after the national elections.
In the said video interview, Frankie expressed what she felt over the early results of the national elections.
“Sabi nung iba, na we have to accept defeat daw, na hindi daw tayo marunong matalo. I think that the truth is, it’s not about just this election anymore e. Because I think that the data shows clearly the selection was bought a long long time ago and that’s something we will not sitting down.” Frankie said.
“I am not going to have my president be named Ferdinand Marcos again, ever. And I think it’s that simple. My siblings are here too, I brought them, my baby sister, my baby brother. And their young but we all know, we all know what’s right and wrong.
And I think it’s very very simple ‘no what we have to do. If we are not here to stand up, if we are not here to fight, e’di ano pa ang ginagawa natin dito sa Pinas diba, mahal natin ang Pilipinas e…” Frankie added.
