After 17 years of sharing his knowledge to the viewing public, Kuya Kim Atienza bid farewell to ABS-CBN. During his final appearance on TV Patrol, Kim cannot control his emotion while thanking the management and staff of ABS-CBN.
Kuya Kim also thanks his co-workers in different ABS-CBN through out his career.
“Unang-una ang aking boss sa ABS-CBN, Ging Reyes, inalagaan at tinulungan mo akong maging mas mabuting Kuya Kim dito sa TV Patrol.” started Kuya Kim.
“Ang aking mentor sa entertainment at aming chief operating officer of broadcast na si Cory Vidanes. Salamat sa tiwala sa aking kakayanan at sa oportunidad na ibinigay niyo sa akin sa It’s Showtime.” Kuya Kim added.
“Ang aking kaibigan at aming president na si Carlo Katigbak, na patuloy na nagpapakita ng malasakit at inspirasyon.” said Kuya Kim.
In near tears, Kuya Kim said the following for the last time: “Sa ngayon, nais ko sabihin, for the last time, ang buhay ay weather-weather lang.”
Matapos ang halos 2 dekada ng paghahatid ng ulat panahon at kaalaman sa TV Patrol, namaalam na si Kuya Kim Atienza sa Kapamilya network.
Nagpasalamat naman si Kuya Kim sa mga nakatrabaho niya sa ABS-CBN sa mahabang panahon.
