Senatorial candidate Mar Roxas has two things to look forward to on Monday, May 13, as he will be celebrating his 62nd birthday on the same day of this year’s elections.
During his advance birthday celebration at their home in Cubao, Quezon City, Mar and wife Korina Sanchez proudly showed their twins Pepe and Pilar to the members of the media.

During their interview, Mar said that he considers his twins as the “best birthday gift”.
He shared: “They’re our best birthday gifts. Talaga, the best.”
“Posible na nangyari ito nang mas maaga, pero siguro we won’t be enjoying it or we won’t be as thankful about it, so dumating sila [Pepe and Pilar] sa tamang panahon,” Mar added.
Pepe and Pilar are set to be baptized after the elections.
