Actress Ellen Adarna posted a video on her Instagram account showing the meeting of her mom and Derek Ramsay’s mom which many believed is the ‘pamamanhikan’ of Derek’s family to Ellen’s family.
‘Pamamanhikan is a Filipino tradition where the purpose is to ask the girl’s parents’ permission for their son to marry their daughter. A tradition that shows respect and honor for the girl’s parents before getting married.
Derek publicly announced that Ellen is the ‘one’ for him and even posted his video proposal online which Ellen accepted.
