After actor Paulo Avelino drew attention online because of his “Na-Bea Alonzo ka na ba” tweet amid the actress’ reported break up with Gerald Anderson, the ‘The General’s Daughter’ star has explained the said post which gained responses from other celebrities including Angel Locsin and Loisa Andalio.
In an interview, Paulo explained that that he posted the said tweet to which he included the hashtag #Ghosting just to lighten up the situation.

Bea has made it to the headlines after sharing a cryptic tweet, sparking speculations about her break up with Gerald.
Her statement, saying that Gerald just started not talking to her and that they did not have a formal break up has been tagged as ‘ghosting’ which is a common term among millennials which refers to a sudden cutting of communication among two people involved in each other.
Paulo explained: “I doesn’t really matter if it trends or not, it’s just.. To make everything lighter..”
When asked if he has spoken to Bea amid the controversy, Paulo said: “Mukang okay naman siya, she’s getting better.”

Amid Bea and Gerald’s reported break up, actress Julia Barretto has been linked to the controversy after she was romantically linked to the actor when they did the movie ‘Between Maybes’.
