TV host Willie Revillame narrated his story on how he started his TV show ‘Wowowin with GMA-7. Willie said he underwent a lot of sacrifices to the point of almost giving up on the project he love dearly.
During the May 7, 2020 episode of ‘Wowowin’, Willie admitted that he already gave up on the show since the show was not earning. Willie said that he is already spending Fourteen Million pesos (PhP 14,000,000.00) of his own money to support ‘Wowowin.’

“Malaki na ang nagasgastos ko pero walang bumabalik. Pero nagre-rate talaga kaso walang pumapasok na pera. Imagine nyo PhP 14,000,000.00 a month ang ginagastos ko mula sa sarili kong bulsa.” said Willie.
GMA-7 then called for meeting with Willie to find a solution to the problem.
“Kaya ko kinukwento ito kasi akala nyo ganun kadali ang pagpasok ko sa GMA. Butas din ho ng karayom ang pinagdaanan ko dyan hanggang dumating na sa point na talagang wala na akong masyadong pera at gusto ko ng magbenta ng mga properties para lang matuloy yung show.” added Willie.
GMA-7 then offered a co-production agreement which gave Willie hope to continue the program.
