Kapuso star Zoren Legaspi expressed his honest thoughts and sentiments over his twins, fellow Kapuso stars Cassy and Mavy having boyfriend and girlfriend.
In the latest YouTube vlog of Zoren’s wife, Kapuso star Carmina Villarroel, she featured her husband for an interview. During the interview, Zoren answered several questions from the fans of Carmina.
One of the questions asked was, “ready ka na ba mag-kaboyfriend o girlfriend yung twins?”
According to Zoren, he is not yet ready for their twins to enter into a relationship of their own. Zoren also admitted that he is not in favor on the culture of having a Prom night.
“Hindi… First of all, okay, I mean kailangan baguhin mo yung kultura kasi. Kasi yung culture ang nagdevelop ng ganyan e, kaya nga ako naiinis sa mga prom-prom na yan e. Kunwari may prom date ganyan, because, yung mga prom na yan, junior prom, that’s the start. Alam ko marami pong magrereact, but it’s the culture but yong sa akin kasi, why push them into these things about relationship at the very, very young age?” Zoren shared.
“Kasi puwede mong i-push sila in a different angle. Now, they say o, 20 na sila, 21, matanda na, who said na matanda na ang 21 to have a relationship or that’s the right age to have a relationship? There’s no such thing, then later you have a relationship, the more, the better, so if you, nag 25 ka, 26, and you’re still single, does it mean you have a lonely heart or ganyan, it’s better. It’s better because hindi ‘yan ang priority actually sa buhay.” Zoren added.
Zoren also reacted on the remarks of some youth on social media regarding having a relationship.
“Nowadays, nakikita ko sa mga, you know, like TikTok or mga bagets diyan, laging sinasabi, ‘Buti ka pa, ano ako, wala pang jowa,’ and these kids are like 15, 16 years old, 17, nauuso ‘yung Ikaw ganyan, ako nga wala pang jowa,’ who cares kung wala? E, di ibigin mo yung nanay mo, ibigin mo tatay mo, ibigin mo kapatid mo, ibigin mo yung ganyan or so many things to do….” Zoren added.
