Actress and TV host Maine Mendoza quickly denied any involvement in a circulating tweet which claimed to be from. The malicious tweet aimed to confused fans of both Maine and Vice Ganda and perhaps for Maine and Vice to have a misunderstanding.
Jack Em Popoy which stars Maine and Fantastica which stars Vice are battling off in the boxoffice for the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival.
A messsage was posted on Twitter claiming to be from Maine Mendoza:
“Nakakaloka yung Fantastica! The most nonsense movie of all time! #JackEmPopoyUnangPanoorin”
Then a reply was posted allegedly coming from Vice that says:
“Thanks for watching. Haven’t seen your movie yet. Mukha kasin wala ring kwenta. #SorryNotSorry #FantasticaNowShowing”
The real Maine Mendoza clarified about the said issue and said the tweets were edited.
“Yikes! Paskong pasko wala pa ding magawang matino yung ibang tao. This is edited, guys. Pero nood nalang din kayo Jack Em Popoy at Fantastica para happy tayong lahat.”
