Vico Sotto’s post about tarps earns praises from netizens: “Iwasan na natin ang mga tarp/poster na may mukha ko ha!”

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto earned praises from netizens over his social media post about posters and tarpaulins showing his face.

On his Facebook account, Vico shared a photo of a tarpaulin greeting him on his birthday with his photo placed on and requested not to put his face to future posters and tarpaulins, saying he gets ‘shocked’ every time he sees one.

He wrote: “Maraming salamat po sa lahat ng bumati sa aking ika-30 na kaarawan!

Pero tapos na ang birthday ko. tanggalin niyo na yung mga tarp na ‘to please! Nagugulat ako sa mukha ko eh ?

Ang totoo, nagpaalam sa kin yung nagkabit nito. Pumayag na lang ako dahil alam kong excited pa ang lahat sa panalo natin. Pero pagkatapos nito, iwasan na natin ang mga tarp/poster na may mukha ko ha!! Lalo na sa mga public spaces!! ?”

Mayor Vico’s post went viral and gained more than 39K reactions as of writing.
