Actress Jessy Mendiola could not hold back her tears after Congresswoman Vilma Santos gave her message via phone patch during the former’s guesting in “Magandang Buhay”.
The star for all seasons expressed her blessing to Jessy and her son Luis Manzano, saying she would like them to end up with each other.

She said: “At the end of the day, ang huling magdedesisyon, silang dalawa. Kasi, silang dalawa talaga ang magsasama. Pero kung sila naman, sana matuloy na.”
Vilma also took the chance to defend Jessy from bashers, saying: “Good luck sa movie mo ha, ‘The Girl in the Orange Dress’. Sa lahat naman, puwede ba mag-imbita sana mapanood niyo naman si Jessy kasi sometimes mahirap tayong manghusga sa tao dahil lang sa nakikita natin. Pero ang importante dapat kilalanin niyo muna ‘yung tao.”
“At pag sinuportahan niyo si Jessy, tandaan niyo sasabihin ko. Hindi kayo magsisisi.”
