Thirteen senators filed a resolution uring the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) to reconsider its its cease and desist order against ABS-CBN. People from various sectors have denounced the closure order. Most netizens felt it was done in a time where the country is facing its worst challenge in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a Twitter post of GMA-7 reporter Mav Gonzales, 13 senators namely: Senator Hontiveros, Drilon, Zubiri, Recto, Pangilinan, Angara, Villanueva, Binay, Lapid, Gatchalian, Pacquiao, De Lima and Cayetano signed the resolution.
