Away from the quirky personality shown upon her vlogs, actress-host Alex Gonzaga shared her faith in God in celebrating the holy week amidst the pandemic on her official Youtube channel.
Being frank and forward, Gonzaga introduced her vlog by saying “First time kong gagawin to, ever. In my vlog, I would be discussing about my faith.”

Gonzaga admits why never talked about this in her vlogs. She states that it felt corny and just not the right time. But later she pulled it off by saying, “we should never be ashamed of the Gospel”.
Claiming that not just the country, but the whole world is confused, Gonzaga mouths “There is uncertainty in every one of us. Maybe this is the right time we’ll find peace and rest to God.”
Verse from the scripture Matthew 11:28 flashes “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Gonzaga did a song cover of Oceans by the Hillsong United Oceans wherein her ‘Tita Ella’ plays the piano.
Though it seems to be all-serious at first, the song cover was cut every time there’s an interfering factor that distracts Alex of singing – be it a flash, or a wrong note or his uncle passing by, that’s when the actress express her thoughts about the pandemic, the frontliners and God’s mercy.
However, in the later part, Gonzaga did the song cover with all grace and emotions forewarned by a note that jokes she’s not a singer to expect good notes.
