Filipino fans have been rushing to the nearest cinema in order to watch the final installation of the Avengers movie series ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
According to a tweet by entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, the movie which premiered in the Philippines last April 24 hit a first day gross of P205,676,345 pesos in 970 screens nationwide.

The Avengers’ final installment broke the record of its 2018 movie ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ that reached P141.6 million on its opening day, making it the biggest opening for a Marvel film in the country.
Several cinemas offered early morning screening and even 24-hour screenings in order to accommodate Filipino moviegoers and fans who have been waiting for the most anticipated Marvel movie of the year.
