COVID-19 patient’s hospital bill reaches PhP 3.8 million

Being infected by the COVID-19 virus is no joke. Not only because of what it can do to someone’s health, but what it can also do to someone’s cash savings. A patient infected with the COVID-19 virus was taken to a hospital and within 16 days of stay – his hospital bill reached more than PhP 3.8 million.

According to a report by GMA-7s “Stand For Truth”, the patient’s son said the doctor’s fee was around P200,000, while the laboratory test and pulmonary services was around P400,000, and the cost of the medicines reached up to P1.4 million.
