Singer Ice Seguerra laughed off a negative comment from a netizen who apparently mistaken him as Jake Zyrus formerly known as Charice Pempengco.
In his Instagram post, Ice shared a screenshot of the basher’s comment who expressed dismay and clarified that he might not be the person the netizen was referring to.

The netizen wrote: “You wasted the opportunity God gave you to be a successful singer and protege of David Foster.”
Ice then wrote in the caption of his post: “Nag check ako ng mentions ng fan page ko sa FB when I stumbled upon this comment.
Sorry Jake kung nadamay ka na naman. Peace!😁”
It can be remembered that Jake, before coming out as a trans man, was previously referred to David by Oprah Winfrey for mentoring when the Filipino singer drew attention in the international music scene and had also guested in several shows abroad.
Foster had been producing songs for Jake who was then known as Charice before the world-renowned musician started working for a different music label.
