Actress and vlogger Ivana Alawi surprised her mom on Mother’s Day with PhP 2 million pesos. But it not just giving her the money, Ivana together with her siblings thought of something more exciting.
Since Mommy Alawi is fond of catching fish, the family went fishing in Pampanga. And for every fish Mommy Alawi will be able to catch, Ivana will give her PhP 200,000 for each fish.

At the end, Mommy Alawi was able to catch 10 fishes that amounted to PhP 2 million pesos.
On her vlog, Ivana said:
“Hindi nya alam na ang isang isdang mahuhuli ay P200,000 at meron nang naka-ready na P2 million na ibibigay natin sa kanya pang-Happy Mother’s Day,”
“Kasi guys kailangan talaga nating suklian ang kabutihan ng ating mga ina. Hindi ko sinasabing magbigay kayo ng ilang milyon o whatever, kung paano po kayo magmahal kung paano ang malapit sa puso nyo. Make sure to make your mom feel special today, everyday habang nandito sila sa ating mundo,”
After receiving her gift, Mommy Alawi gave the following message to all the mom’s out there:
“Keep up the good work dahil alam kong pinakamahirap na trabaho ang nanay, so two thumbs up. Sa mga nanay dyan, basta itanim nyo maganda, maganda ang ani.”
