Actress Jessy Mendiola gave her explanation as to why she missed the ABS-CBN Ball 2019 together with her boyfriend Luis Manzano. In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Jessy said there is a family event that they have to attend that’s why they cannot join the ABS-CBN Ball.
It was actually the birthday of Luis’ dad – Edu Manzano.

“Hindi ako pupunta, sayang. Birthday kasi ni Tito Edu and we’ve planned something else. Kaya ayon, hindi kami makakadalo ni Luis,” said Jessy. But the actress added that she and Luis are thankful because they are always invited to attend the ball.
“We’re very thankful na every year naman, as always, lagi kaming invited. For now, we’ll rest it out muna and celebrate ‘yung birthday ni Tito Edu.” ended Jessy.
