Guesting in a segment at the ABS-CBN DZMM Teleradyo last Monday (March 30, 2020), boxing champion and Senator Manny Pacquio shared his thoughts on the wedding incident that happened during the marriage of Sarah Geronimo and Mateo Guidecelli.
When asked about his advice to Mommy D (Divine Geronimo), Manny said: “Iwasan ang sisihan… Grievances against each other ay balakid sa success. Gusto natin tagumpay ang bawat isa, tagumpay ang pamilya. Lahat masagana, masaya mamuhay.”

Talking about experiences in marriage, Pacquio shared that there are a lot of lessons that he and his wife Jinkee had in their 22 years of ups and downs.
He speaks of the very same scenario that the Guidecelli couple experienced during their wedding. Pacquiao claimed that before they even got married, there are a lot of conflicts that he and his wife faced together, such as having the ceremony without the blessing of Pacquio’s parents.
Moreover, Manny gave a heart warming advice to the Matteo and Sarah to prove everyone that they are really happy to be together until everyone accepts the happiness they deserve.
“Mahalin at huwag magtanim ng galit sa magulang dahil sa huli pag nagkaanak na kayo, maiintindihan nyo din [ang nararamdaman ng magulamng nyo]” added Manny.
