A recent tweet by the NBA’s official account reveals that a player on the Utah Jazz has found to be positive with the coronavirus. As a result, the NBA suspended all game play until further notice.
This hiatus will be used to determine the steps that the Association will take in the future with regards to the coronavirus pandemic. Given the worldwide popularity of basketball as well as the seating arrangements within arenas and stadiums, this is a reasonable course of action. However, the decision has been met with widespread disappointment by fans who were ready for the season and the playoffs.
