Comedienne Pokwang never fails to put smile and laughter to her audience’s faces as she brings joy and entertainment to them with her hilarious jokes and stories to tell whenever she is performing on stage or on screen.
But just like others, Pokwang has also faced tough moments in her lie including the passing of her son Shin 21 years ago.

In an Instagram post, Pokwang remembered her son on his death anniversary as the comedienne recounted how it was the ‘saddest day’ of her life.
She wrote alongside a photo of Shin’s gravestone with a lit candle and white flowers: “its been 21 years. The saddest day of my life 🙏🏼 my angel 👼🏻 ❤️”
Pokwang’s post was later flooded with comments from netizens who sent their comforting messages for the comedienne.
One netizen commented: “They stay with us in our hearts always.. ❤️ thinking of you”
Another Instagram user wrote: “Your Angel Shin 👼❤️”
Shin was Pokwang’s son with her former Japanese husband. Shin passed away due to a congenital brain ailment.
