Popstar royalty Sarah Geronimo’s movie ‘Unforgettable’ just had a successful run on its opening day as it earned P5.1 million on its first day in cinemas.
In an Instagram post by Viva Films, the movie which also features the dog Milo and appearances of celebrities such as Gina Pareno, Ara Mina, Kim Molina, Meg Imperial, and Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez earned the said amount on its opening day.

Viva Films wrote: “Maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta sa unang araw ng #Unforgettable!
Sa mga hindi pa nakakapanood, ‘eto na ang chance niyong mapanood ang natatanging pagganap ng nag-iisang Ms. Sarah Geronimo! #UnforgettableMovie, showing na sa mga sinehan sa buong bansa!”
In her recent interview, Sarah talked about how she felt on having no leading man in the said film which she described as “liberating”.
Sarah said: Masarap, liberating ang pakiramdam kasi you’re not depending on a leading man. Talagang nagba-bank ka doon sa istorya itself at sa script also.”
“Wala po kaming naging problema. Nakakagulat nga kasi napaka-focused niya. Nakakagulat kasi nung first time na sinabi ng trainer niya while we are doing a scene, ‘Focus Milo, focus,’ talagang focused at every time, ‘yun ang binibigay, big focus. Professionalism, ‘di ba? ‘Yung aso professional, nahiya nga me,” she added.
‘Unforgettable’ directed by Jun Lana is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
