Actress Gretchen Barretto arrived at the wake of her father Miguel Barretto who recently passed away where she got to reunite with some of her family members.
In a video shared by her sister Claudine Barretto on Instagram, Gretchen arrived at the venue of the wake where she was greeted with President Rodrigo Duterte who was also present during the viewing.

After a short talk with the president, Gretchen approached her mother Estrella “Inday” Barretto and gave her a long and tight hug.
Claudine wrote in the caption: “And then,We are Complete @gretchenbarretto im so Proud of u.I admire & luv u more today #doubleinfinity #thatsmyAte WELCOME HOME ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Celebrities and netizens then extended their deepest condolences to the Barretto family.
Singer and actress Jessa Zaragoza commented: “Our condolences to your family 😔🙏🏻 @claubarretto @gretchenbarretto @marjbarretto”
Tim Yap meanwhile wrote: “My deepest condolences to the Barretto family”
Netizens who were also touched by Gretchen’s presence during her dad’s wake flooded the post with comments as one user wrote: “Been waiting for this po. God is good to you po! We shall always declare, ‘it is well with my soul’!”
Another user wrote: “I’m teary eyed what ever happened family is most important than anything else”
Miguel passed away last October 15. He was 82.
