The ‘hurados’ of It’s Showtime’s ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ segment could not hold their tears back after TNT Quarter 4 semifinalist Violeta Bayawa performed her heartfelt version of ‘Unchained Melody’.
Hurado Jaya and hurado Dulce were spotted shedding tears towards the end of Nanay Violeta’s performance who also gained applause from the touched ‘madlang people’.

After her performance, hosts Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro thanked Nanay Violeta for her heartfelt performance which brought tears to other hurados and some of the hosts including Anne Curtis.
Vice said: “Si Zsa Zsa (Padilla), si Ms. Dulce, si Jaya umiyak. Si Anne Curtis.. Ang pinaka malala ang iyak si Randyy (Santiago) hindi lang natin nakita pero umiiyak talaga siya.”
“Para kaming mga apo niyo na kinakantahan niyo para makatulog. Salamat po,” Vice added.
Nanay Violeta then opened up about her ‘one great love,’ saying: “Sa puso ko kasama ko siya.”
When asked about her most unforgettable memories with her ‘one great love,’ Nanay Violeta shared: “Marami po. Yung katulad nung magkasama, masaya kami tapos biglang nawala. Umalis siya. Yun ang iniisip ko.”
As of writing, Nanay Violeta’s performance already gained almost 100K views on YouTube in less than a day.
