Dani Barretto, the eldest daughter of Marjorie Barretto opened up about her relationship with her dad Kier Legaspi whom she last saw six years ago.
In a vlog she shared on YouTube, Dani addressed assumptions of netizens about her relationship with her dad, saying that the two of them are not in good terms.

She shared: “I haven’t spoken to my dad in 6 years. the last time we spoke, we were not in good terms and up until now we’re still not in good terms.”
According to her, she and Kier never had a solid relationship clarified that it does not mean she do not love him.
“We had like a brief relationship, which was like, two months and it was nice. I’m not gonna say naman na parang I didn’t love him or I’m not gonna say na I don’t love him. it’s just like that, i guess, when you’re apart for so long and you already grew up, and nasanay ka na na wala yung tao sa life mo, you just feel like.. Not naman you don’t need the person but it’s more like you’re okay without them,” she added.
Dani further explained: “I’ve been hurt a lot of times by this person and not that I’m blaming him for everything. I probably have faults too but at the end of the day, I’ve been wanting an effort out of him but I never got it.”
Dani recently got engaged with her boyfriend Xavi Panlilio.
