Former actress Chin Chin Gutierrez is now a nun

It has been years since award-winning actress Chin Chin Gutierrez last appeared on television and the big screen.

After leaving showbiz, Chin Chin finally decided to pursue serving God as she entered the Carmelite Convent as a full-pledged consecrated sister, now known as Sister Lourdes according to a viral post on Facebook.

Chin Chin previously starred in movies such as “Maalaala Mo Kaya: The Movie” (1994), “Melinda” (1995), “Desaparacido” (1997), and “Jose Rizal” (1998) among others.

Apart from being an actress, Chin Chin is also an environmental advocate.
