A 90-year-old woman in Belgium died of COVID-19 virus after she refused taking an artificial respiration, reportedly telling doctors to save her ventilator for younger patients. In an article published on Foxnews, Suzanne Hoylaerts from Binkom was first brought to the doctor by her daughter Judith when she began experiencing a loss of appetite and shortness of breath.
Suzanne was later hospitalized and tested positive for COVID-19. She was needed to be put in an artificial respiration to help her breath. But Suzanne refused and reportedly said: “I don’t want to use artificial respiration. Save it for younger patients. I already had a good life.”
