British broadcaster and television personality Piers Morgan said in his morning show, Good Morning Britain, lauded Filipino nurses with praises, calling them the “unsung heroes” in the country’s battle with COVID-19.
“It’s worth bearing in mind when we talk about immigrants in this country, isn’t it?” Morgan said. “These are the immigrants currently saving people’s lives. They are coming here and are actually enriching our country and doing an amazing job.” added Morgan.
“So thank you to all the Filipinos who are here doing all these amazing work and to every other immigrant working at the NHS currently,” ended Morgan.
