Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan declared his candidacy for Vice President in the coming 2022 election, the same position Senator Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto is vying for.
It is a common knowledge that the Sotto Family is close to the Pangilinan and Cuneta family. Actress singer Sharon Cuneta is very dear to Sen. Sotto and wife Helen Gamboa.
In an article published by Pep.ph, Ciara Sotto, daughter of Sen. Sotto admitted that she got hurt and disappointed after learning about the decision of Sen. Pangilinan to run for VP.
“I prayed if I should voice out my true emotions when asked about Kuya Kiko running against dad for VP. I cried because I am so hurt and disappointed.” said Ciara.
“It made me feel that my parents were of no value after all. Ate has always been considered and treated like a daughter by my dad and especially my mom.” Ciara added.
“I will continue to pray for them, and of course, for my dad and his protection, wisdom, discernment, and I praise and thank God for giving me him as my earthly father.” Ciara said.
