Miss Universe Philippines 2010 Venus Raj made some revelations during her interview with actress and TV host Toni Gonzaga.
In the latest ‘Toni Talks’ of Toni, she featured Venus for an interview. During the interview, Venus opened up about her personal life. She also talked about her journey on becoming a beauty queen.
According to Venus, she filled the void of not meeting her real father through having a relationship. Venus revealed that her first relationship was with a 28-years-old man when she was 16-years-old.
“When you are growing up, paano ka nag cope duon sa void na yun?” Toni asked Venus.
“Ayun, boyfriend.” Venus shared.
“Ilang taon ka unang nagka boyfriend?” Toni asked.
“16. I was in high school. Tapos mga usually older… The very first one, I was 16, the guy was, like, 28… Wala pa kong kaalam-alam sa buhay noon, Toni. Para lang akong sunod lang, kung ano lang sasabihin. You know, masabi lang na you are in a relationship. I don’t know kung anong ibig sabihin ng toxic relationship, hindi ko alam kung paano ba yung dynamics dapat. Am I to submit? No idea at all…” Venus revealed.
“I was introduced to things I shouldn’t be introduced, first sexual experience. And I thought, ‘Ah siguro ganito talaga… ito siguro yung love.’ kasi usually ganon naman e, dapat binibigay mo yung sarili mo ng buong-buo doon sa tao. It ended, after 2 years, I think a year and a half, kasi he got another lady pregnant…” Venus added.
Venus also shared the things that she learned after her relationship. According to Venus, at that time, she doesn’t know that there is a ‘void’.
“At that time hindi ko alam na there was a void. I know now, I can name that as a void when I was younger, pero nung nandoon ako, hindi ko naman alam na it was called like a void, na may kulang, na may ganito. Parang pakiramdam ko lang, gusto kong may kasama ako sa buhay…” Venus shared.
