Actress and TV host Kris Aquino made a request to her fans and followers on social media to not use red emoji for the meantime.
In her Instagram account, Kris gave an update to her fans and followers about her health condition. In the said post, Kris revealed that she was about to undergo several medical tests before going abroad. Kris also shared that she is trying her best to learn ‘humility’ for her brother, late president Noynoy Aquino.
“BECAUSE i’m very GRATEFUL for all your prayers… bago mag next dose ng Xolair about a week from now, (which i am reacting to in a good way) gagawin ko na yung tests requested by my hematologist, who was also our mom’s oncologist, Dr Francis.
Although wala po akong cancer markers in my blood tests, meron syang mga gusto pang ma rule out before we leave in less than 2 weeks. Hindi po ako takot sa tests, i prefer to know para kung maaagapan or may treatments, procedures, or solutions – magawa na soonest na walang delay.
So this Friday nag YES ako sa Pet Scan, Endoscopy, plus bone marrow biopsy (i was warned 5 days of discomfort after) BECAUSE i have full confidence in my team of doctors: my anesthesiologist, Dr. Jonnel (like before hindi po ako nagbibigay ng last names)… pain management, Dr. Henry (inalagaan na nya ‘ko when i had 3 impacted wisdom teeth surgically removed all in 1 go)… Dr. G, Dr Piano, Dr Katcee, Dr Nikki, Dr Cricket, Dr Hazel, Dr Nick, and sorry i just trusted Dr Francis with the endocrinologist he chose so i didn’t even ask for his name.” Kris wrote in the caption.
In the comment section, one netizen wrote, “We continue to pray for your healing and recovery the soonest! Thank you for keeping us updated on your health! (Three red hearts emoji).”
The said comment caught the attention of Kris as she asked her fans and followers not to use the red emoji for the meantime. Kris also suggested some emojis as she answered, “request can you use yellow hearts 💛? Or 💝”
“i’m sure gets nyo na why wag muna red.” Kris added.
