TV host Korina Sanchez shared a glimpse to her fans and followers of the ‘despedida’ party as she prepared for one of her house helper, Rodolfo.
In her Instagram account, Korina shared several photos taken during the said party. Korina can’t help but be saddened as Rodolfo has to leave as he decided to go back to his hometown. According to Korina, Rodolfo is with them for almost two decades. Korina also shared that she and her twins, Pepe and Pilar prepared a ‘despedida’ party for him as a way of showing gratitude.
“I find it always bittersweet when staff leaves. 💔 As long as I can remember Rodolfo, one of our house helps, was always around helping me and my family with every single need. He is always the one who beats me to asking for coffee in the morning. “Maam, kape po?”. Mild mannered and quiet but a consistent worker. And he loves my dogs and kids.😍
After almost two decades together, Im happy for him now finding love (lockdown love affair sa nurse dito hahaha). And now he has to leave back for Bacolod to build a life there. 🥂
We love Rodolfo. And Pepe en Pilar made sure to say Thank You in our small despedida for him tonite in the secret garden I created here for such occasions.
