Actress and vlogger Marjorie Barretto expressed her honest thoughts and opinions over the first ever daring film of her daughter, actress Julia Barretto titled ‘Expensive Candy’.
It can be recalled that Julia portrayed her first ever daring role in the said film with actor Carlo Aquino.
In an interview with PUSH, Marjorie admitted that she had to ‘prepare herself’ first before watching her daughter’s first ever sultry film. Marjorie also expressed her support to her daughter as she shared that Julia really worked hard for the said project.
“Medyo I have to prepare myself for that. This is a grown up Julia, you know, but a better definitely version of her. She’s really worked so hard and she’s very excited about this project so I have to be supportive” Marjorie shared to PUSH.
Marjorie also shared that she was able to read the script of the said film and she approved Julia portraying the role.
“Oh yes, I read the script . I approved it. And you know, you have to… di ba you raise your kids and then you just wish that they are wise enough na to make decisions. She’s 25 years old and I trust her and ang ganda nung movie at ang ganda ng script. At saka si Direk JP yon, and Carlo Aquino, so how can you go wrong?” Marjorie shared.
