Actor and TV host Vhong Navarro surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after a Taguig court issued a warrant of arrest against him for alleged acts of lasciviousness.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Vhong said that he will face the rape complaint against him in court, but at the same time expressed his disbelief over the sudden turn of events.
“Yun nga ang nakakalungkot kasi for how many years, akala namin nila attorney, ang aking legal team na tapos na, patapos na actually. Kaya nagulat kami after ng ilang years, parang eto ulit nabuhay, at parang nababaligtad, na ako ang biktima.” said Vhong.
“Ang hirap paniwalaan. So ako mula nung 2014 inilahad ko yung lahat ng nangyari. Wala akong tinago, sinabi ko lahat.” Vhong added.
“Alam ng Panginoon yun, na nagsasabi ako ng totoo. Kaya ngayon ang bigat ng loob ko, kasi bakit parang ganito. Nabuhay and at the same time binabaligtad.” Vhong said.
