Netizens expressed their dismay to Kapuso star Paolo Contis’s remarks to the current highest grossing Philippine film of all time titled ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ starring Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo and Kapuso star Alden Richards.
It can be recalled that on the 4th season of Paolo’s online program titled ‘Just In’, he featured Alden for an interview. During the interview, they talked about the films that Alden starred in for the past years. One of the films that they talked about was ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’.
“’Hello, Love Goodbye’ pinaka malaking pelikula lang naman sa Pilipinas. Sisiw, sisiw, wala lang (laughs). Yung number one movie ng Star Cinema at ABS-CBN, taga GMA yung artista.” Paolo said.
“Fact… Of course you have Kathryn who is the biggest star of ABS-CBN but you also are a big star of GMA.” Paolo added.
The said remarks of Paolo caught the attention of netizens especially Kathryn’s fans as it seemed it left a bad impression to them. Netizens and fans of Kathryn quickly expressed their honest thoughts and sentiments as ‘Kathryn’, ‘Paolo’ and ‘Alden’ trended on Twitter.
