Actress Julia Barretto was honest enough to share her stand in as far being friends with her exes. In a guest appearance on ‘Magandang Buhay’, Julia said she cannot be friends with her former boyfriends after their relationship has ended.
Julia is currently in a relationship with actor Gerald Anderson. The couple went public with their relationship in 2021.
“Kaya niyo ba? Kasi kung kaya niyo, there’s something weird with me siguro. I think it’s just, I don’t know, to be honest, kasi ex mo na kasi eh. Pero you can be civil and respectful at maayos ang pakikitungo niyo sa isa’t isa. Puwede kayong magkamustahan.
Pero I feel like when that part of your life is over, it means that whole relationship including the friendship.” said Julia.
“And especially if you are happy at the moment, di ba it’s really as respect to your current partner as well because hindi naman yata proper. Okay lang naman yung maayos ang pakikitungo pero to be close friends, parang baka magkabalikan naman kayo nun, parang date na naman ,” Julia added.
