Broadway star Lea Salonga reminded fans that celebrities / artists like her have boundaries as well. The reaction came after a video was posted online showing a fan wanting to have a photo taken with her after her performance in “Here Lies Love.”
Based on the video, there were fans who wanted to have their photos taken with Lea but according to Lea, their names were not on the list.
Lea patiently explained to them the protocol and asked them to wait for her in a particular place (within the studio) for the picture taking.
The video elicited mixed reactions from netizens, some agreed with Lea and some don’t.
On Twitter, Lea briefly reacted to the said video and tweeted the following:
“Just a reminder… I have boundaries. Do not cross them. Thank you.”
And in the comment section, she posted:
“Okay, real life demonstration: none of the actors in HLL have been to my dressing room. Not Arielle, Jose, Conrad, Melody, or anyone else. These are already friends and co-workers, and yet they respect my boundaries! So who is anyone else to want to invade my space? Make it make sense!”
