Actress Marian Rivera-Dantes broke her silence and reacted to the numerous fake posts alluded to her. It has been a new practice for netizens to post a photo of a celebrity and put quotes with it.
Unsuspecting readers would think that the quote was actually made by the celebrity himself or herself.
One instance was when a netizen posted a photo of Marian with the following caption:
“Kaway-kaway sa mga swerte sa biyenan! Hindi man sweet sa social media, pero mabait, concern sayo at sa mga bata, di sinusulsulan ang mga anak nilang lalake, at mahal ka rin na parang totoong anak niya.”
On her Facebook page, Marian reposted the said fake quote and said:
“Hindi ko to sinasabi bakit ba may mga taong hilig mag edit!!! 🥺 nakakarami na po kayo. 🙈 tama na!”
Fans and followers of Marian agreed with what the actress said:
– “nd mkatarungan mga gngwa nila, nkakasira ng may relasyon, o paghanga sa mga iniidolo, dpat nyan pinaparusahan, nsasanay, at tsaka baka gawin dn sa iba,”
– “Yeah. So obvious na Di galing sayo ang statement..”
– “akala ko nga talaga totoong account to kasi may blue badge check,sana tumigil na yan sila mga pa fame”
– “Maraming ganyan, minsan k Sara Lahbati minsan k Kylie Padilla, gumagawa sila ng kwento. Marami pa nmn naniniwala.”
