TV host Willie Revillame seemed to have a change of heart from his plans to run for a senate seat. The prolific host said he is no longer interested and will not run for politics.
In his interview with OnePH, Willie mentioned that his new contract with TV5 is for three years and there is a clause in the contract that says ‘no politics.’
Willie also clarified that he did not say that he is ready to run for a senate seat but that he is ready to help.
“Nanonood ako ng Senate hearing, Congress… lahat. Nilalagay ko ‘yung sarili ko, what if nandiyan ako? Anong magagawa ko? Pero kapag nakikita kong nag-aaway at nakikita kong parang walang unity, parang napu-frustrate ako,” said Willie.
“I’ll be honest, I have a contract with TV5, no politics… Three years ang contract ko,” Willie added.
