Actress and TV host Kris Aquino is finally back in the Philippines after staying in the US for a number of years seeking treatment for her autoimmune illness.
Kris said that the reason for her coming home is she needs to start her second immunosuppressant infusions in 2-3 weeks.
Fans and followers expressed their happiness upon hearing the news that Kris is back, and at the same expressed their curiosity as to the identity of the guy seated beside Kris on the plane.
On Instagram, Kris thanked the following people during her journey:
“There are so many i wish to thank, our OC friends who became our adoptive family. The @flypal team, my 2 Fil-Am close friends Dr. Henry & Dr. Titus, and MY Dr. MP, my 3 best friends @michaelleyva_ , @lenalonte, and @annebinay (kuya josh is staying with ANNE for a few more weeks), my FILAM nurses (Mike, Cara, Patricia) and my source of strength, and God’s biggest blessing, my “BIMB”. They are flying home with me. A longer gratitude post when we get home.”
Netizens were wondering and asking if the guy is the doctor boyfriend Kris was referring to in one of her statements during her interview with Ogie Diaz.
“He’s a doctor, and I think that’s part of the reason why it was easy. Kasi alam nya kung ano’ng pinagdadaanan ko. He’s part of the reason why I’m confident na puwede akong umuwi kasi alam ko there’s someone who will help in taking care of me.” said Kris.
