Veteran actor and Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto is set to file complaints against filmmaker Darryl Yap. This after the controversial film of Yap “The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma” mentioned that name of Vic Sotto in its trailer.
According to News5, Vic and his legal counsel are scheduled to file the complaint at the Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Court on January 9, 2025 at 10am.

The said teasers showed actress Gina Alajar (playing the character of the late Charito Solis) asking Rhed Bustamante (playing the role of Pepsi Paloma) about the unfortunate incident that she was violated and said if it was ‘Vic Sotto’ who did it, to which Rhed answered ‘Yes.’
Yap on the other hand maintained called his work – a truthful retelling of Paloma’s story.
In a recent Facebook post, Darryl uploaded a photo of Pepsi’s mom and brother with the following message:
“Sa loob ng 40 taon, pinakinggan at pinaniwalaan nyo na ang mga sikat, mga may pangalan, mga makapangyarihan, mga nagsalitang sila ang may alam, mga nagsabing sila ay kaibigan.
Ngayon, Bigyan natin ng pagkakataon ang Inang nanahimik nang napakatagal na panahon, ang Inang matapos mawalan ng anak ay patuloy na nasasaktan sa mga paratang at panghuhusga.
Tapos na ang pananahimik ng nakababatang kapatid ni Pepsi, na noo’y 15 years old lamang, kasama ng aktres hanggang sa mismong araw na siya ay natagpuang walang buhay sa loob ng aparador.
Mananahimik ang Kasinungalinan dahil walang Kamatayan ang Katotohanan. Sila naman ang magsasalita, Sila naman ang magkukwento.
