A vehicle, its tires still warm from the road, lost control and plowed straight into the al fresco dining area of Da Gianni Cucina Italiana restaurant owned by actor Matteo Guidicelli. Chairs toppled. Table settings scattered.
Thankfully, the timing was, by some blessing, fortunate. Most of the diners had already finished their meals and gone home by around 1:30 p.m., leaving the outdoor area clear of guests when the vehicle hit.
On Instagram, Matteo posted a video showing the accident:
“Here’s a video update on the yesterday’s incident.
At the end of the day, ladies and gentlemen, it’s very important to always be aware of your surroundings. Be safe, and keep your family safe. This was an incident involving a very innocent woman who panicked and pressed the gas instead of the brakes.
It can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. On a lighter note, business continues. Cleanup starts. Stay safe, everyone.”
In his message to the public, he spoke not only with concern but with a quiet sense of reminder that life’s rhythm can change in an instant, and that awareness and gratitude matter deeply.
