When Ryan Bang attended Yeng Constantino’s Biyaheng Bente 20th anniversary concert, he probably expected a night of music and nostalgia. He likely did not anticipate that watching his former crush serenade him from the stage with “Sabihin Mo Na” would ignite an emotional floodgate days later on live television.
During a broadcast of It’s Showtime, the comedy routine paused as Ryan broke down in tears while thanking Vice Ganda for bringing him to the concert. It wasn’t just a moment of show business melodrama—it was a deeply human breakdown over missed timing, youthful insecurity, and the search for love.
Sitting at Yeng’s concert years later, watching the woman who once cared for him sing directly to him, the reality of that lost chance washed over Ryan anew.
On It’s Showtime, as Vice Ganda wrapped an arm around him, Ryan sobbed and asked a vulnerable question that hit home for anyone who has ever felt inadequate:
Vice Ganda offered comfort with words that resonated far beyond the studio walls:
Love will find you. Just wait. We just wait.” said Vice.
“Don’t cry, as I told you, so many people appreciate and value you. We see you.
