Nahaharap sa isang frustrated murder complain ang aktor na si JM De Guzman sa Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office. Ang reklamo diumano ay isinampa ni Pitt Norman Zafra. Ayon daw sa reklamo ay binugbug daw ni JM kasama at ng kanyang isang foreigner na kaibigan si Pitt sa isang restobar noong May 7, 2019.
Ayon sa ulat ng entertainment website na Pep.ph, sinabi ng legal counsel ng aktor na sina Atty. Louie Aseoche at Atty. Juan Paolo Tumbaliang na ang naturang reklamo ay isang ‘rehash’.

“On behalf of JM de Guzman, we would like to inform everyone that there are reports circulating that a certain Pitt Norman Zafra has recently filed a complaint for ‘Frustrated Murder’ against JM and another individual at the Office of the City Prosecutor in Quezon City.
The Complaint-Affidavit of Mr. Zafra is actually a rehash of a previous complaint he filed for ‘Physical Injuries’ which he withdrew before the City Prosecutor Office in Quezon City on August 8, 2019.
JM is surprised why Mr. Zafra would now want him to answer for a more serious charge under the same set of factual circumstances as the complaint that he withdrew last month.”
