Ynna Asistio diagnosed with rare condition called ‘volvulus’

Ynna Asistio was rushed to the hospital after experiencing severe stomach pain which eventually led to a diagnosis of a rare disease called ‘volvulus’.

On Facebook, Ynna’s mom Nadia Montenegro asked for prayers for her daughter and revealed that she was diagnosed with the said condition which involves twisting of the small intestines that can only be cured by a major surgery.

She wrote: “My ‘faith’ is stronger than my fear! God is our healer! You will be ok baby. I love you so much!

Pls pray for ynna. She was diagnosed with ‘Volvulus’ a rare condition involving twisting of the small intestines. No medicines and only a major surgery can cure. I know God is watching over her. She will be transferred now via ambulance from marikina to another hospital today for immediate surgery. Pls keep her in your prayers. Thank you!”

Ynna also shared an update on her Instagram stories, saying: “Hello. Please pray for Ynna.

“Rushed her last night sa ER, mga 12 A.M. pero nakakuha kami room mga 4:30 A.M. na.

“Nagka-severe stomach ache siya. Na-CT scan na siya and na-rule out yung appendicitis, but she will have an open surgery.

“It’s a rare condition daw. Nag-swirl-swirl ang intestines niya.

“Please pray for her. -baba.

Thank you @thesexyyssa and @rednaxasistio for rushing me last night. Pray for me pls”
