Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr. posted a video on her Facebook page intended to surprise his wife – Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado. Because of the enhanced community quarantine in place, Mayor Lani stayed home to celebrate her birthday, keeping herself busy with projects to help her constituent in their fight against the COVID-19.
On the video, Senator Bong surprised his wife with a bouquet of flowers for her 52nd birthday. Mayor Lani thanks her husband for the surprise and took the opportunity to apologize for her mistake.
In a previous video, Mayor Lani mistakenly said COVID-14 instead of COVID-19.
““Sa mga natuwa sa aking pagkakamali, ‘labanin ang COVID-14,’ sorry po talaga… Madami talagang iniisip pero sorry po sa mga nagalit, ‘wag na tayong magalit, tapos na ang Mahal na Araw,” said Mayor Lani. “Bawal magkamali pala ang alcalde. Tao lang po, pasensya na.” Mayor Lani added.
