Frankie Pangilinan reiterated her stand that rape exists because of rapists, and not because of how women dress themselves. This is line with her exchange of message with TV host Ben “Mr. Bitag” Tulfo who shared his view that women should not wear provocative dresss so as not to tempt sexual offenders.
In an online interview on ANC, Frankie said a comment like that is being narrow-minded for failing to have a foresight that there is bigger problem out there.

“I’m 19 but it’s incredibly invalidating to people like me who are doing their best to be educated and doing their best to be aware and learning more and more and more about things like this. Especially women. He’s not a woman. I don’t think he’s ever experienced any sort of abuse similar to that,” said Frankie.
“I don’t think he’s ever experienced any sort of discrimination through his gender.” added Frankie.
