Liza Soberano admits she went through ‘Ugly Duckling’ phase

Actress Liza Soberano may be regarded as one of the most beautiful actress of her generation, but in a video conference – Liza admitted that just like most people, she also went through the ‘ugly duckling’ phase. Liza admitted that during her earlier year, she would focused more on the things she does not like about herself than appreciate what she already has.

But as she grows more mature, she learned to appreciate the whole package and to appreciate what God provided.

“Honestly, yes. I think we all have our own versions of ourselves that we imagine and that we want for ourselves. But we can never really attain it because of course we only want the best for ourselves. Before, I couldn’t really appreciate the beauty that I already had or the beauty that others would see in me because I’d pinpoint all the little things that I don’t like in myself.” said Liza.

“But I realized that it’s more important to focus on the whole package and to just appreciate what God gave you. So if I get one pimple or two, I don’t like to stress out about it anymore because I know it’s a natural process of being a human and it will go away. We can get through it,” added Liza.
